from the very first day i started working at 189 New Bridge Road to until the very last hour when i get my pay..there were a lot of farni and interesting stuffs going on at this nice and cosy shop juz around the corner of mosque street..well..maybe nice and cosy aren't the best words to describe it..nice??hmm..the people there had been nice..cosy??aw..maybe a little bit too cosy..with 200 degrees Celsius from the bbqing stove itself..the heat wave is tremendous...talk about cosy..=p
muoline layoutanyway..beocz there is so much things to tell you guys...i've come up with the "60 farni and provoking thoughts"...describing what was it like and stuff...so here goes..
1.i got scolded by a costumer on the second day of work already.
2.tat hurt.
3.as the first week of work draws near,i thought it was ending.silly me.
4.the people at work with mi were super nice,despite the frequent backstabbing i heard.
5.well, maybe i dun get to hear them toking bad abt me.
6. amazing how i can eat chicken rice for two straight weeks.
7.more amazing that it takes mi 5mins to finish a meal.
8.wiping a glass wall can be quite a tedious job.
9.especially when they give u newspaper onli.
10.after the day when i had my off day,i didn't feel like going back to work.
11.but there i was again,wiping that stupid glass wall.
12.wearing my old Kappa school shoes to work was a right choice.
13.it became 'shiny and polished' within a few days.
14.wonder wat oil they use on their ba kwa...
15.stacking a plate of ba kwa requires both great physical and mental abilities.
16.its not as easy as u think.
17.but no matter how nice and steady u stack it up,it'll look the same in a couple of mins.
18.so wat for stack when you'll juz ruin the whole thing when u picked it up.
19.i also dun noe..juz stack loh..=p
20.some costumers thinks the ba kwa shop is a service counter.
21.anothers think its a charity drive where we gif free ang bao covers.
22.the worse is when they think its a public toilet.
23.on the 3th of jan,chinatown was packed.
24.pity those whu never get to see the firecrackers.
25.and the fireworks.
26.which was directly in fornt of our shop..hehehehe..
27.the more people doesn't really mean more sale.
28.in fact i think the shop had a couple of losses.
29.stolen goods.
30.i was under the 'sales' department.
31.but besides learning to weigh,pack and be the cashier,
32.i also had the 'previllage' of learning how to mop the floor,wash the plates,bbq the ba kwas,removing the charred parts,arranging goods,putting on price tags blabla..
33.jack of all trades.

35.toking abt goods,try carrying 30 kg of goods through two streets
36.when the streets are packed with hundreds of ppl.
37.933 fm has become my fav. station thnx to the help of the shop's sterreo system.
38.national anthem plays at 6 in the morning
39.i've never been so happy bfore when i heard the national anthem,until now.=p
40.it juz means i'm 3 hours away from home.hehe..
41.i've made great frends there.
42.sadly,one of them took up smoking becoz of the tremendous stress.i was tempted..
43.i was gald i didn't give in.
44.when great stress,comes greater fun to supress it..
45.i've come to learn that stress is juz a physcological reaction.
46.its juz so both stress and fun to be working with the people there..
47.i'll miss them..juz hope we'll keep in touch..
48.after seeing so much meat,i think i shld go vegetarian for a year..hehe..
49.u still can sleep soundly after u drink coffee(test-proven..=p)
50.for those whu felt irritated in the MRT as i doze off and landed on your shoulder repeatedly...i'm here to say sorry.. hehehe..=p
51.i always find myself at boon lay MRT station alone when i wake up..
52.i was suppose to alight at Jurong East.=x
53.i reeked of ba kwa's smell.
54.they say you are what u do.
55.well..they were correct.
56.gif me a packet of ba kwa with mi and i tell you u can't tell whether i'm smelling or the ba kwa is.
57.someone once ask if it was mi or the ba kwa.
