from the very first day i started working at 189 New Bridge Road to until the very last hour when i get my pay..there were a lot of farni and interesting stuffs going on at this nice and cosy shop juz around the corner of mosque street..well..maybe nice and cosy aren't the best words to describe it..nice??hmm..the people there had been nice..cosy??aw..maybe a little bit too cosy..with 200 degrees Celsius from the bbqing stove itself..the heat wave is tremendous...talk about cosy..=p
anyway..beocz there is so much things to tell you guys...i've come up with the "60 farni and provoking thoughts"...describing what was it like and stuff...so here goes..
1.i got scolded by a costumer on the second day of work already.
2.tat hurt.
3.as the first week of work draws near,i thought it was ending.silly me.
4.the people at work with mi were super nice,despite the frequent backstabbing i heard.
5.well, maybe i dun get to hear them toking bad abt me.
6. amazing how i can eat chicken rice for two straight weeks.
7.more amazing that it takes mi 5mins to finish a meal.
8.wiping a glass wall can be quite a tedious job.
9.especially when they give u newspaper onli.
10.after the day when i had my off day,i didn't feel like going back to work.
11.but there i was again,wiping that stupid glass wall.
12.wearing my old Kappa school shoes to work was a right choice.
13.it became 'shiny and polished' within a few days.
14.wonder wat oil they use on their ba kwa...
15.stacking a plate of ba kwa requires both great physical and mental abilities.
16.its not as easy as u think.
17.but no matter how nice and steady u stack it up,it'll look the same in a couple of mins.
18.so wat for stack when you'll juz ruin the whole thing when u picked it up.
19.i also dun noe..juz stack loh..=p
20.some costumers thinks the ba kwa shop is a service counter.
21.anothers think its a charity drive where we gif free ang bao covers.
22.the worse is when they think its a public toilet.
23.on the 3th of jan,chinatown was packed.
24.pity those whu never get to see the firecrackers.
25.and the fireworks.
26.which was directly in fornt of our shop..hehehehe..
27.the more people doesn't really mean more sale.
28.in fact i think the shop had a couple of losses.
29.stolen goods.
30.i was under the 'sales' department.
31.but besides learning to weigh,pack and be the cashier,
32.i also had the 'previllage' of learning how to mop the floor,wash the plates,bbq the ba kwas,removing the charred parts,arranging goods,putting on price tags blabla..
33.jack of all trades.

35.toking abt goods,try carrying 30 kg of goods through two streets
36.when the streets are packed with hundreds of ppl.
37.933 fm has become my fav. station thnx to the help of the shop's sterreo system.
38.national anthem plays at 6 in the morning
39.i've never been so happy bfore when i heard the national anthem,until now.=p
40.it juz means i'm 3 hours away from home.hehe..
41.i've made great frends there.
42.sadly,one of them took up smoking becoz of the tremendous stress.i was tempted..
43.i was gald i didn't give in.
44.when great stress,comes greater fun to supress it..
45.i've come to learn that stress is juz a physcological reaction.
46.its juz so both stress and fun to be working with the people there..
47.i'll miss them..juz hope we'll keep in touch..
48.after seeing so much meat,i think i shld go vegetarian for a year..hehe..
49.u still can sleep soundly after u drink coffee(test-proven..=p)
50.for those whu felt irritated in the MRT as i doze off and landed on your shoulder repeatedly...i'm here to say sorry.. hehehe..=p
51.i always find myself at boon lay MRT station alone when i wake up..

wow!!look whus back..unclehao..hahaha..yupe..its me back from a long long entry..hmm..actually its back from malaysia..hehe..hope everyone is doing well in wadever u all might be doing..well.. as you guys noe..after my work at the ba kwa shop i went straight away back to my grandma's house in Malaysia..the trip back on my dad's frend car wasn't quite a pleasent one...sleeping on a car wasn't the best method..we left at 11:45 am and arrived there at 4+ the ride was smooth sailing.. thank God there wasn't any jam or stuff..went to my grandma's house to put down our stuff before going to my por por(my dad's mum loh)'s house..which was a few streets away only..(coz my dad and mum came from the same kampong..=p)pay respect to them and had reunion dinner before going back to grandma's house..on the way back...i heard a 'pop' sound..the next time i noe the whole street went pitch black..muz be the power generator breaking down again..so much for the day before CNY..the only light source was coming form the sky..i looked up and wow...i tell you..i've never seen such beautiful stars in my whole life...and to
think God created all these...amazed..simply amazed..be4 i can sallow my saliva another miricle came by...Fireworks..litting up the kampong literally as it goes up.. B-E-A-UTFUL!!! =p..yup..in Malaysia u can even buy fireworks..song bo..hehe..after that much gazing..it was time for sleep..it was the sweetest sleep ever..given the fact that i haf work 13 hours each days for a few weeks...i onli woke up 6 in the evening on the first day of CNY..haha..sleeping on big year chu one..=p for the next few days..i could only remebering me eating and sleeping..eating and
sleeping...so tired..so0o0o tired..haha..=p the trip back didn't provoke much thoughts like i expected..remember when i was young..use to play firecrackers,bath in the river...steal cocca...opps..=x with my kampong frends..now not anymore..i dun see them..they dun see me...maybe thats wat they call growing up..=)
after 24 longs days of seeing/packing/bbq-ing/touching/stacking and of coz eating chinese new year's all time favourite;ba kwa...13 hours a day..i am finally free!!! wah ho!!!aywy..going off to malaysia for a couple of days... leaving so0n...i promise i'll gif u the full details of my working experience at mei zheng xiang when i get back...stay tuned leh!!!! fua hahahaz... =p
hmm...now that my break is over...it's back to work..sighz..feeling rather lazy and tired to go back to work..really need to draw strength...=) i bet the feelings also goes to those who are starting school today...haha...speaking about school..had this weird and scary dream yesterday night...i dreamt that one of my teachers called me..he said that due to my poor grade in math..he advised me to continue my studies in Hong Kah as a sec 5 student...i'm having a weird feeling that this is coming ture..=aywy...finally caught the LOTR by myself..(cause no 1 wanna watch with mi..=( )wow..i thought it was 3 hours..in the end the show ended at 2200...three and a half hours of seat-warming..hehehe..to me..finishing the three-part squeal wld just mean that three years had just past...if u didn't realise it...fast eh?? =p
first..a very ha-ha new year to every mad fellas i know..as form today..we all will have to try to forget the'03 we always write on the date columm and remember its '04...'04...'04.. hehe..its been really tiring these few days for me at work..and i'm off today!!wah ho!!but the real fun has not started because from wat i heard from my colleagues...this is only the beginning..and the "real" work starts next week..when chinese new year is round the corner and ppl just flood the shop..juzt thinking about it scares me...=-How i spend my new year's eve this year's(or last year =p) celebration was quite different from the the previous ones..in fac it was quite sad for me..normally by 12...ppl wld be at some place nice and cosy..preferbaly someplace which is air-conditioned..maybe some friend's house or some pub..well..i was considered quite an out-of-average kid so yea..i was in somewhere cosy too...air-conditioned..nice..spacious..any idea where it is?? ai ya.. North-East Line loh..=p sad...sad..but the more sad thing is that i dun know wat got through my head..i took the wrong train and arrived at Harbourfornt... had a split second thought of juz going down to Sentosa since there was still time b4 12..(time was 11:45pm then) but dropped the idea when i thought i was too underaged for that.. =p A new year...God has been gracious to me in '03... i gif thanks 4 that..i look forward to '04 and see wat God has for me....God bless and may the new year gif u a new hope and new laughther... fua hahahz... =p
