POC ended!!!this is already the fourth time that i've attended the annual POC.And everytime i play a different role in the camp.From participants during my freshies years to AGL and then GL and then committee member and finally expired as helper. It's a very funny feeling, going through all these stages.Looking at the freshies enjoying themselves,the AGLs and GLs trying to glue the team together,the committee slogging through the nights.I see myself in them, each of them.
I remember most of the current committee members,AGLs and GLs back when they were freshies and i was an AGL. Blur,innocent and new.Now look at them,all grown up;leading and taking up roles. I'm really proud of them,each and everyone of them.
I was once a BB boy back in the secondary school days and i'm really grateful of what BB has given me.I wanted to give it back and pass it on.It reminded the reason why i joined primers in the first place.To lead and to serve,and pass on the legacy onto the next generation.Because serving is a very wonderful thing to do.And to be able to see the people u once served now serving people makes it even a more wonderful thing.I believed that's what the Primer's family spirit is all about!
To all those who took part in the camp:
Enjoy the process of growing up in Primers.Because when u look back,you'll know it's all worthwhile...=p
i got the show and OSTof 200 pounds beauty a few weeks back from a friend of mine and finally yesterday, i've got the time to watch it.Not a bad movie but seemed a bit draggy.But really the OST is the one worth paying attention to. Gone for so long,no particular reason.
This is gonna be a long entry.
And so,i guess any idiot would know I've finished my exams. I've unofficially graduated.And my graduation day is coming in June.That will officially mark the end of my 3 years in Ngee Ann. A lot of things ran through my head when i think of the 3 years in NP.Most of them pleasant. The fun times with the class especially.We didn't do much together after school hours but it sure was bloody fun playing in the class.Talking cock and singing songs.lol.Of course the world is not as beautiful as u think it is.There were those nasty moments that I'll choose not to disclose.haha.
We've all grown a bit.A bit taller,a bit older,or perhaps a bit more mature.I've learned things.Not a lot but sufficient. I'm glad i did.Sometimes i think, that taking some of the modules in my course is crap. I still do think that way. Talking the walk does not necessarily mean you know how to walk the talk.But anyhow, like my lecturer always says;"There's always something to learn at the end of the day."Sometimes the content don't matter.It's the story behind the story that we need to see.Which reminds me of a quote;"The lesson of life is a life full of lessons." At times i can't help but wonder what did i take away with me during my 3 years in NP.
Alright alright.Enough of my big big ideology.Maybe a little update on me. I just finished an assignment in Singapore Science Centre.Working in the Eco garden of the Science Centre.I'm one of the station master for an event that was going on for a month.Dealing with primary school students and HOT young teachers(*slurps), my job was to explain what is a Ph and how do you test Ph. In case you don't know what a Ph is,it is a scale to measure the acidity/alkalinity of a certain substance/liquid.The job was great .Ppl are great, apart from being outdoors and having to face the wrath of the weather.Basically you just do what you have to do only when there are classes coming. If not, you'll be resting in a little hut in the center of the garden.
That ended.I miss the ppl and the place already!!hah..Now i'm waiting for the money to come in.My next job is in the mid May.Working as admin in Gek Po CC and there's a job training on the 9th. In between this time i'll be going to Primer's Orientation Camp.It's been quite a while since i've last saw the primers gang.
So i'm pretty much looking forward to the camp.
Speaking of camppppppp..my enlistment letter came in..Horror of all horrorss.....
My worst nightmare came true.
I'm being enlisted in SEPTEMEBER...
no0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o.....i called them to ask for an early enlistment.Unless u got valid reason, if not NO.They say it's done randomly by computer.
I don't believe loh...........most of my friends are in the June/July intake.
Well what to do,must think of ways to make the better out of these 5 months.
